All classes are held by experienced teachers Juan Veron and Elena Gonzalez from Argentina. Focused on the essence of tango, we look at
technique, role of the leader, role of the follower, special exercises
for connecting with your partner. You will learn to dance in a friendly and fun environment, no need to bring a partner, only your
joyfull self.
And most of all, its fun, come and give it a try you'll be surprised !!!
Juan Veron de Astrada & Elena Gonzalez
Juan was born in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Tango is his passion. He started teaching 7 years ago, in the most popular suburb from Buenos Aires, San Telmo. He is also a singer and play tango tradicional with the talented tango ensemble "La Busca".
Elena is an Argentinian tango dancer, with over 8 years teaching experience. She started to dance tango in 2003 in Patagonia, then moved to Buenos Aires (the Capital of Tango) where she studied at the "University of Tango", "IUNA" (Instituto Universitario Nacional del Arte). Since 2008 she has been living in different countries of Europe, organizing Tango events and giving Tango lessons in Dublin, Lisbon, Berlin, and of course Buenos Aires.
She masters both roles in tango, the "following" and the "leading" part, adapting herself to her partner changing from "open embrace" to "close embrace", moving from modern to traditional tango without loosing her own milonguero style (where improvisation and musicality is most important).
As a dancer and performer, she give her heart with passion as she finds the music as her inspiration.
As a teacher, she likes to share her experiences, revealing the unwritten secrets of this wonderful dance."
